This Privacy Policy explains how Lovy handles information related to the use of the Lovy mobile application.

Lovy is designed as a private relationship app for couples. Our goal is to keep your personal memories, relationship dates, notes, and emotional content under your control.

2. Data Controller

The data controller is the operator of the Lovy application. If you have any questions about privacy, data protection, or your rights, you can contact us using the email address provided at the end of this document.

3. Information We Collect

Lovy does not require users to create an account and does not intentionally collect personal information that directly identifies you.

Any relationship information you enter into the app is stored locally on your device.

This may include:

• relationship dates,
• anniversaries and reminders,
• notes and memories,
• relationship statistics,
• app preferences and settings,
• premium feature status.

4. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect or store on our own servers:

• your name,
• your email address,
• your phone number,
• your physical address,
• your contacts,
• your private messages,
• your precise location,
• your photos, unless you choose to use them inside the app locally,
• your payment card or banking details.

5. Local Storage

Lovy stores app data locally on your device. This means that your relationship content normally does not leave your device and is not transmitted to us.

If you uninstall the app, clear app data, reset your device, or experience device failure, your locally stored data may be permanently deleted unless your device backup includes this data.

6. Legal Basis Under GDPR

If any processing of data occurs, it is based primarily on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR — compliance with legal obligations, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest in maintaining, securing, and improving the application.

7. Google Play Services

Lovy is distributed through Google Play. Google may process technical data necessary for app distribution, licensing, updates, security, purchase verification, and other Google Play related services.

The processing of information by Google is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.

8. Google Play Billing

Lovy may offer optional premium features through Google Play Billing.

All payments are processed securely by Google. We do not receive or store your credit card number, banking details, or other sensitive payment information.

We may receive limited technical purchase information necessary to unlock premium features inside the app.

9. Analytics and Advertising

Lovy does not currently use third-party advertising networks, advertising SDKs, Firebase Analytics, or similar user tracking tools.

The app is not designed to profile users or create marketing profiles based on relationship data.

10. Cookies and Device Identifiers

Mobile apps do not use cookies in the same way as websites. However, Google Play, the operating system, or device services may use technical identifiers necessary for app distribution, licensing, security, updates, and payment processing.

11. Photos and Personal Content

If Lovy allows you to add photos, notes, memories, or similar personal content, this content is stored locally on your device unless clearly stated otherwise.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you add to the app is lawful and that you have the necessary rights or permission to use it.

12. Children's Privacy

Lovy is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information through the app, they may contact us so we can review the situation.

13. International Data Transfers

Because Lovy stores user-created relationship data locally, we do not transfer such data to our own servers.

Some services provided by Google may involve processing data outside the European Economic Area. Such processing is governed by Google's applicable legal mechanisms and policies.

14. Data Retention

Locally stored app data remains on your device until you delete it, uninstall the app, clear app data, or reset your device.

Technical information processed by Google Play is retained according to Google's own policies.

15. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights:

• the right to access your data,
• the right to correct your data,
• the right to delete your data,
• the right to restrict processing,
• the right to object to processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Because most Lovy data is stored only on your device, many data deletion actions can be performed directly by deleting app data or uninstalling the app.

16. Data Deletion Requests

If you wish to request deletion of any data that may be identifiable and accessible to us, you can contact us using the email address below.

Please note that we cannot delete data that is stored only on your device and never transmitted to us. In that case, you can delete the data directly from your device.

17. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information related to the application.

Because your relationship data is stored locally, you are responsible for protecting your device using available security features such as passwords, PIN codes, biometrics, or device encryption.

18. Limitation of Liability

Lovy is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by applicable law.

We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, accidental deletion, uninstalling the app, operating system issues, lack of backup, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and applicable European Union laws, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

20. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
